Refund & Returns Policy for Nienie’s Cakes N More
At Nienie’s Cakes N More, customer satisfaction is important to us. We take great care in preparing every cake, pastry, meal, drink, and catering order to ensure quality and freshness.
Because many of our products are perishable and custom-made, this Refund & Returns Policy outlines when refunds, replacements, or returns may be approved.
Food Safety Notice
Due to health and safety regulations, we generally do not accept returns of food products once they have been delivered, collected, or consumed.
However, we will work with customers to resolve any genuine issues regarding product quality, damage, or order errors.
Products Eligible for Refund or Replacement
You may be eligible for a refund, replacement, or store credit if:
- The wrong item was delivered.
- The order was incomplete.
- The product arrived damaged.
- The product was spoiled at the time of delivery.
- The product significantly differed from the confirmed order specifications.
To qualify, the issue must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the order.
Custom Cakes and Personalized Orders
Custom cakes and personalized products are made specifically for each customer.
Because of this:
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- Completed custom orders cannot be returned.
- Refunds will not be issued for changes of mind after production has begun.
- Minor variations in color, decoration, design details, or artistic interpretation are not considered defects.
Reference images are used as inspiration and exact duplication may not always be possible.
Non-Refundable Items
The following items are non-refundable except where damaged, defective, or incorrectly supplied:
- Custom cakes
- Personalized desserts
- Bento cakes
- Cupcakes made to order
- Parfaits
- Yoghurts
- Natural drinks
- Small chops
- Food trays
- Catering orders
- Surprise packages
- Gift packages
Cancellation Policy
Standard Orders
Orders may be cancelled before preparation begins.
If preparation has already started, cancellation fees may apply.
Custom Orders
For customized cakes and event orders:
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- Orders cancelled within 48 hours of delivery may not qualify for any refund.
- Orders cancelled after production has commenced are not eligible for refunds.
Delivery Issues
If a delivery problem occurs due to incorrect information provided by the customer, including:
- Wrong address
- Wrong phone number
- Recipient unavailable
Nienie’s Cakes N More shall not be responsible for resulting delays, product deterioration, or additional delivery charges.
Refund Processing
If a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.
- Processing times may vary depending on banks and payment providers.
- Approved refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days.
Product Quality Concerns
If you believe there is an issue with your order, please provide:
- Order number
- Clear photographs of the product
- Description of the issue
- Date and time of delivery or pickup
